Birthdays

Birthdays are very special occasions, especially at Progressive Montessori Academy. It is a tradition at Montessori schools for each child to present the class with a book to celebrate their birthday. This helps the child to learn the joy of giving as well as receiving. Please also provide a picture of your child from each year of life so they can create a time line.

If you wish to celebrate your child’s birthday at school, you are welcome to provide a healthy snack – cheese, orange sliced, carrot cupcakes etc. Please make arrangements with the class teacher in advance.
